In 1987, we built an aluminium furnace to smelt aluminium and produce ingots, continuing this along with car breaking until 2002. We then shifted our emphasis to scrap steel and vehicles, and subsequently removed the furnace to create more space.
In 2003, we became proactive about steel recycling and introduced a skip hire service to cater to a larger customer base. Two years later, we expanded further by offering dismantling and demolition services, making us a sought-after option for demolition service in Birmingham and other areas.
Our relentless pursuit of growth and improvement saw us venturing into online auctions in 2006 for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In 2007, we made our first overseas scrap purchase, establishing positive relationships with companies in mainland Europe and Scandinavia.
