To facilitate business growth, we moved to a larger yard at Moston Road in Sandbach. In 1987, we built an aluminium furnace at the yard, marking our foray into aluminium smelting. Our operations continued until 2002, when we shifted our focus towards scrap steel and vehicles.
In 2003, we became proactive about steel recycling. To maximize productivity, we introduced a skip hire service and expanded our customer base. In 2005, we sought large scale scrap and started offering dismantling and demolition services. By 2006, we had started using online auctions to source ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our first overseas scrap purchase was made in 2007, paving the way for collaborations with companies in mainland Europe and Scandinavia.
