The need for growth led us to relocate to a larger yard in Sandbach. We also expanded our services to include aluminium smelting. However, in 2002, we shifted our focus to scrap steel and vehicles. This was due to less profitability in aluminium and the need for more space.
In 2003, we became proactive about steel recycling and increased our customer base by introducing a skip hire service. We further broadened our scope in 2005 by offering dismantling and demolition services. We made our first overseas scrap purchase in 2007, which paved the way for good working relationships with companies in mainland Europe and Scandinavia.
Our company name changed to Sandbach Commercial Dismantlers in 2010, better representing our focus and future direction. We are now targeting larger demolition projects and expanding our operations throughout the UK and Europe.
